Working Woman

30-year-old Orna, her husband and their two children are struggling to get by in Jerusalem. So it's a blessing when Orna get a new job with a real-estate developer. Her experience may be limited, but she works hard and is very resourceful. This doesn't stay unnoticed; her boss Benny promotes her and gives her a raise. He is clearly taken by her and keeps making advances, which she keeps rejecting. Then she has to join him on a business trip to Paris. After concluding a successful deal, Benny comes on to Orna once more, this time in her hotel room. The consequences are devastating.

Director Michal Aviad started working on this film in 2012 after having heard so many stories of workplace sexual harassment. Often it concerns male employers sexually using and abusing female employees; more often than not the men end up destroying these women if they don't get their way.
