On Saturday evening, 18 December, the Cabinet announced that the Netherlands will again go into lockdown. This is in order to curb the spread of the highly contagious omicron variant of the coronavirus at an early stage.
This means that the cultural world, including Rialto De Pijp and Rialto VU, will be closed again. This closure will last at least until 14 January. Even though we understand the decision, we still regret having to close our doors again to our visitors. There is no other way.
Despite all this, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a beautiful, hopefully corona-free 2022!
