This staggering documentary by Marcel Mettelsiefen, multiple award-winner and known for, among other things, the documentary Watani: My Homeland, shows how Tanja turns from idealistic student into a member of the notorious FARC and ends up on Interpol's international investigation list.
A special screening of this documentary will take place on Thursday 31 August at 19:00: a Q&A with Tanja Nijmeijer will take place in the evening. Tanja cannot leave Colombia, which is why the Q&A will take place via a live connection on the big screen. Besides Tanja, Janneke Stuulen, Dutch teacher in t V.O and writing researcher (teacher-researcher), and good friend of Tanja, will also be present. During her time with the FARC, Tanja wrote many never-sent letters to Janneke, which eventually led to Tanja's exposure.
