Previously Unreleased

There are countless wonderful films to be seen at national and international festivals. So many, in fact, that not all of them reach the big screen in Dutch film theatres. Wrongly so, Eye Filmmuseum believes. That is why Eye brings a selection of these films to our the Netherlands every summer under the title Previously Unreleased.

The hidden gems, that were never seen before, can also be admired at Rialto this summer. We kick off with Showing Up by Kelly Reichardt on Thursday, July 4. On July 24, Eureka by Argentine director Lisandro Alonso joins the list and finally, starting August 22, we will screen Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell by Vietnamese director Thien An Pham. All films will be screened at both Rialto De Pijp and Rialto VU.
