Vacancy: Volunteers for Rialto VU (at least 1 shift every 2 weeks)
As of November 4, 2021, Rialto VU will open its doors! Inside the NU on the VU Campus, we are building the newest and most innovative cinema in Amsterdam with a recognizable Rialto identity. This means that we pay attention to independent, involved and artistic world cinema.
We are looking for volunteers who, together with us, want to be the face of Rialto VU. Enthusiastic and energetic individuals who enjoy interacting with our visitors and want to do their best to make them as comfortable as possible. Creative people who want to be part of a team and like to work together.
As a volunteer at Rialto VU you fulfill various tasks: you scan tickets at the hall, keep the cinema rooms tidy, speak to visitors when necessary and/or escort them to the cinema rooms, and support with ticket sales when necessary. You work in a dynamic environment with a mix of students, university employees, film goers, theater goers and cafe goers.
What to expect from us? Unlimited free visits to our films, a number of consumption vouchers to be spent per shift in our culture cafe Bar Boele, participation in activities that we regularly organize for our volunteers and employees.
