The festival promotes Israeli filmmaking and celebrates the development of a new generation of Israeli filmmakers. Thus, the festival will hold a screening of the four winners of the festival’s short film competition: Romi Menachem, Gidon Dayan Forse, Nathanel Yosef and Shaylee Atary. This competition was open to the leading Israeli film schools (Sapir College - School of Audio & Visual Arts, The Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School, Kibbutzim College and Steve Tisch TAU) and presents the future of Israeli cinema.

The Next Generation

Bar, 12, wakes up to a day when she’ll be forced to earn back her spot on the class soccer team. As the day progresses she realizes that the real problem is off the field.

A newlywed Hassidic couple are on their way to a traditional wedding blessing celebration, when they discover that their car is stolen. A meeting at the insurance agency forces the couple to decide if they will lie or maintain marital harmony.
Jack & Jetta – dir. Nathanel Yosef (2021, 19', Hebrew spoken, English subtitles)
About two years ago, Jetta, a caregiver from Moldova came into Jack life, a 90-year-old widower. The connection between them was very natural and brought with it a lot of joy, humor, laughter but also moments of crisis.

Breezes of desire permeate daily rehabilitation routines when a new relationship develops between Orr, a 30-year-old wheelchair user, and her new physiotherapist.
