Bo
When intrepid Bo travels to Georgia to visit the grave of her father - a well-known trumpet player - she runs into his former childhood friend Levan. Searching for her roots and a better understanding of her father, she decides to hitch a ride in Levan's truck. Despite the age difference, they cautiously give in to the love they feel for each other. The melancholic trumpet playing of Bo's father accompanies their journey through the breathtaking Georgian landscape. The blossoming love between Bo and Levan eventually makes them dare to share their darkest secrets with each other.
Director Joost van Ginkel himself wrote the screenplay for this film, a story about inescapable love, which focuses on the questions: how are we formed and why do we behave the way we do? Gaite Jansen and Rati Tsiteladze play the leading roles in this beautiful drama.
