Terminator 2: Judgment Day

American director James Cameron has proved countless times that he can bring top-notch spectacle to the screen like no other. Take 1984's The Terminator and its 1991 sequel, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, films that pair apocalyptic science fiction with dazzling action. Both films star Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton.

In the future, machines have taken over power. Their goal: to destroy humanity. But there is resistance, led by John Connor. In the first film, they sent a terminator to the past to kill Sarah Connor, John's mother, before John was born. That failed. Years later, they send another terminator, a new model made of liquid metal, one that is virtually indestructible. Aiming to eliminate John, who is then an adolescent. However, the future John also sends a terminator, a modified old model, to protect his younger self. An intense battle ignites.
