Godzilla Minus One

In 1954, Japanese film producer Tomoyuki Tanaka needed to quickly come up with a good idea for a successful film. On a flight from Jakarta to Tokyo, he came up with Gojira, an enormous dinosaur-like, virtually invulnerable monster brought to life by radioactivity. That same year, the first film was released: Gojira, renamed Godzilla in the West. It became a huge hit, the beginning of a highly successful franchise including films, comic books and computer games. Director Takashi Yamazaki has added a new chapter to the Godzilla story, which this time, and being the first, is set just after WWII.

World War II is over, Japan has lost. Including two cities destroyed by atomic bombs, the country is at absolute zero. But it turns out it could still sink below zero when the revived Godzilla comes ashore, with disastrous consequences. Is there anyone left who can fight back?
