blur: Live at Wembley Stadium
Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, Dave Rowntree - or Blur, the legendary British indie rock band that has been on the road since 1988, often in the news for its eternal rivalry with Oasis, that other great British band. They would have reached their musical peak, many see it, in the 1990s. After the release in 2023 of their ninth album, The Ballad of Darren, that remains to be seen; Blur appeared to be in greatest form, which became completely clear when they started performing again, including at London's famed Wembley Stadium, a concert that became instantly legendary.
Director Toby L., who also made the documentary blur: To the End, captured the more than two-hour concert. In front of 150,000 super-enthusiastic fans, they played all their beloved and iconic songs, and of course the new material. The concert was reviewed by virtually the entire music press with five-star reviews.
