Sketch
After the death of his wife, Taylor Wyatt really does try his best to keep his family going, but it doesn't really work. His son Jack and daughter Amber are, like himself, dead unhappy. Jack is constantly worried, while Amber is busy all day with her sketchbook, drawing scary monsters. When Taylor discovers a pond whose water mends anything broken, he considers scattering his wife's ashes in it, but Amber dissuades him. In the process, her sketchbook accidentally falls into the water, which has far-reaching consequences: all her monsters come to life, causing considerable chaos, including in the city. How can they put this right again?
Director Seth Worley has made a very exciting fantasy film with this self-written story, full of scary creatures and all, without losing sight of the fact that it is essentially a moving story about grief and coping with loss.
