Rialto for Short
Rialto offers new, undiscovered talent a chance to present themselves to audiences and professionals, and show their films on the big screen. And we have done just that again this season with the programme Rialto for Short.
This Tuesday night, at 19.30, the third edition of the seventh season is on the programme; the filmmakers present their work to the audience as well as to the jury. And after each film, as always, there will be a Q&A with the maker.This edition's selection is:
- Je weet niet hoe ik van je hou (6’, 2025) - Yvette Bolder
- Sudah (17’, 2025) - Aldo Agaatsz
- De Realist (5’, 2025) - Micha Verbeek
- Het Voorrecht (7', 2024)- Gijs Pouwels
The jury consists of Safirah Dijkstra (dramaturge at VPRO-HUMAN, among others), Hugo Emmerzael (film and music critic) and Stefan Malešević (filmmaker and editor at De Balie). They will watch the films and decide, together with the audience and a special guest, this time cameraman/editor Quincy Lisse, which film is the best of the evening.
At the end of the season, the very best film wins a €2000 prize, a prize made possible by the VEVAM Foundation.
