Rialto for Short – season 7: the finale

For a number of years, Rialto offers new, undiscovered talent a chance to present themselves to audiences and professionals, and show their films on the big screen. And we have done just that again this season with the Rialto for Short programme.

This Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., the final of the seventh season is scheduled; the filmmakers, the winners of the three editions of this season, will present their work to the public and the jury. And after each film, as always, there will be a Q&A with the filmmaker.

These winners, and therefore the three nominees, are:

Winner edition 1: Droom – Fleur Jonkers
Winner edition 2: As If – Salim Abousallam
Winner edition 3: Sudah - Aldo Agaatsz

The jury consists of Safirah Dijkstra (dramaturge at VPRO-HUMAN, among others), Hugo Emmerzael (film and music critic), Stefan Malešević (filmmaker and editor at De Balie). They will watch the films and decide, together with the audience and a special guest, which film is the best of the evening. The winner will receive a prize of € 2000.
