Amsterdamned II
Amsterdam is shaken by a gruesome murder, and it doesn't stop at just one... Young detective Tara Lee delves deep into the case and discovers a connection to a very dark case from 38 years ago, in which a psychopathic killer terrorised the city. She therefore enlists the help of the detective who worked on that case at the time, the now retired Eric Visser. Together with him, she sets out to hunt down the killer who is once again staining the canals red with blood. As the death toll rises, so does the fear in the city, because no one is safe.
Director/screenwriter Dick Maas proved his talent for telling a suspenseful story back in 1983 with the successful thriller De Lift. Five years later, he repeated that success with Amsterdamned, a successful mix of horror, action and humour. A sequel was eagerly awaited for a long time, and now it's here: Amsterdamned II, a film full of chilling murders, spectacular chases and sharp dialogue. Starring Holly Mae Brood and (once again) Huub Stapel in the leading roles.
