Cricket goes on all sorts of exciting adventures. He comes face to face with a spider and a hen, and gets locked inside the sound box of a cello. But luckily, he finds a solution to every problem with the charming music he conjures up from his violin. With it, Cricket also lulls all the animals of the forest to sleep. Small but brave and always cheerful, Krekel helps other animals, but can also count on their help himself. Just as with The Little Mole, Zdeněk Miler’s animation style charms both preschoolers and their parents. There is no dialogue in the animated compilation, but there is music.
