An unexploded bomb from the Second World War is found on a building site in the heart of London. A large part of the city is evacuated under the supervision of Chief Inspector Zuzana, after which Major Wil Tranter can begin defusing the bomb – a life-threatening task. Amidst all the chaos, no one notices that a small group of men, led by Karalis, are hiding in the evacuated area. For them, the bomb is the perfect cover to carry out a daring plan: robbing an underground bank vault. Perhaps too perfect; is there a link between the bomb and the cunning bank robbers?
