The Rescue

In 2018, the world is enthralled by the rescue of a Thai football team that has become trapped in a cave several kilometres deep. The Navy Seals - the army that rushed in - and the US Special Forces are powerless; nobody seems to have the right training and equipment to free the twelve boys. Except Rick Stanton and John Volanthen - two gentle, introverted middle-aged Britons who practice the sport of cave diving.

In The Rescue, directors and producers Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin keep viewers on the edge of their seats with the incredible way they map out this mission, using a wealth of never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews.
