The 11th edition of WCA will take place from 19 to 28 August. In Rialto, De Balie and Rialto VU, with the best films from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Ticket sales have started.
More than 100 filmscreenings
The 11th edition of World Cinema Amsterdam promises to be a very nice edition. Like every year, there is a Competition programme in which eight films compete for the World Cinema Jury Award. In addition, this year there is a focus program with the best films from Sub-Saharan Africa: Actual Africa. But that's not all, you can also enjoy the Go Cuba! programme again this year, see the most beautiful films by Dutch and Flemish filmmakers from the WCA Presents programme and enjoy Special Screenings.
In total there are more than 100 film screenings at various locations: Rialto De Pijp, De Balie and Rialto VU. There are also special pop-up screenings at OSCAM, LantarenVenster and Bijlmerbios.
