On Friday 29 April Rialto presents a special screening of the impressive documentary Babi Yar. Context. Special because that evening the Ukrainian director Sergei Loznitsa will be our guest in Rialto De Pijp. Loznitsa, who has often highlighted the history of (Soviet) Russia and Ukraine in his work, will be interviewed after the film. He will also answer questions from the audience. Host and discussion leader is Hugo Emmerzael (Filmkrant).
