Rialto Silo – from September 2026

Rialto will open a brand new movie theater on Zeeburgereiland in 2026: Rialto Silo. After Rialto VU, which opened in 2021, it will be the third theater to offer beautiful and relevant films under the Rialto banner. The renovation, which will transform the existing building into a state-of-the-art movie theater and a high-end hospitality venue, began last October.

On Zeeburgereiland, in the fast-growing Sporthelden neighborhood, Rialto is opening a new movie theater in one of the former sewage silos: Rialto Silo. This five-screen theater will offer not only the familiar Rialto offerings of artistic films from around the world, but also films accessible to a wider audience.
