Goodbye Stranger

Paul Schipper's life seems to have only ups; he lives in a beautiful house in Amsterdam, has a sexy lawyer girlfriend and he has an absolute dream job as a playlist curator at the world's biggest streaming service. It is certain that he will soon be promoted so that he and his girlfriend can swap petite Amsterdam for cosmopolitan London. But then his boss informs him that there is another candidate after all. This makes him hesitate. In the day that follows, a day full of social obligations, unexpected encounters and painful confrontations, he increasingly wonders whether a move , an office job and a whole new life is actually such a good idea.

It can't hurt to scrutinise your own motives and choices, debutant director Aaron Rookus shows in this humorously told musical drama. Martijn Lakemeier, Claire Bender, and Jesse Mensah play the lead roles.
