Irgendwann werden wir uns alles erzählen
Summer, 1990, the Wall has only just fallen. 18-year-old Maria lives somewhere in rural Thuringia, a region that belonged to the GDR before the fall. There she lives with her boyfriend Johannes on his parents' farm. That a new era is coming is obvious, but Maria has no idea what to do with it. Nearby, on a run-down farm, lives the attractive Henner. He is twenty years older than Maria, but that does not stand in the way of the love between the two; they get into an overwhelming and very passionate relationship. Is he the one for her?
In 2011, writer Daniela Krien made her debut with her developmental novel Irgendwann werden wir uns alles erzählen; together with director Emily Atef, best known for Plus que jamais, she adapted the novel into a screenplay that Atef filmed. The leading roles in this intense and daring tale of impossible love are played by Marlene Burow and Felix Kramer.
