Black Bag
The Secret Intelligence Service is facing a big problem: within its own ranks there is a mole, a traitor who wants to pass on a top-secret device to the Russians and that would have dramatic consequences. Secret agent George Woodhouse (Michael Fassbender) is given a week to find out who this traitor is. The list of suspects is small: colleagues Clarissa, Zoe, James and Freddie. George and his wife Kathryn (Cate Blanchett), also a secret agent, invite the four to their home for dinner, with the idea of finding out the truth using truth serum mixed through the food. Complicating factor: Kathryn could also be the mole. And if so, will George choose his country or his lover?
Fast, witty dialogue, swirling action scenes and excellent acting by the entire cast make this spy comedy/thriller a top-notch viewing experience. With films like the Ocean's trilogy to his name, director Steven Soderbergh is well entrusted with that.
