Sorry, Baby
Agnes and Lydie studied together and during that time they also lived together. A close friendship exists between the two and nothing has changed in that even though they no longer live in the same house now. After college, Lydie moved on and she is married and now pregnant. Agnes still lives in the old house and when Lydie comes to visit her there, she realises that her life has come to a standstill. And that has everything to do with a very unpleasant event during her studies. As much as she would like to forget that experience, everything around her keeps reminding her of it. But she has to move on.
This feature debut by Eva Victor made a big impression at the film festivals where this mix of deadpan comedy and drama about the consequences of sexual abuse had already been shown. Not only the screenplay, but also the acting was widely praised; Victor herself wrote that story, while she also plays the role of Agnes.
