Ghostlight
It is only recently that the Mueller family, father Dan, mother Sharon and daughter Daisy, suffered a severe blow with the loss of their son/brother Brian. Daisy is out of control, while a lawsuit is also pending against Brian's ex. Dan, a construction worker, keeps everything locked up, but when things get too much for him, he erupts into a rage. One day, local resident Rita asks him if he would be willing to play a part in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. He agrees and ends up in a theatre group full of battered people, for whom theatre is a form of therapy . When Daisy, a great theatre lover, hears about this, she joins the group. Acting also has a healing effect for Dan and Daisy.
In this sincerely told story about the power of art, written by director Kelly O'Sullivan, the lead roles are played by Keith Kupferer, Tara Mallen and Katherine Mallen Kupferer, who also form a family in real life.
