Gustav Borg is an internationally respected film director, and his youngest daughter Nora is a stage actress. Although she played in one of his masterpieces as a child, his eldest daughter Agnes chose a very different path: she became a historian. After their mother's death, the sisters meet their father again after a long time. After the divorce, Gustav disappeared from their lives, and Nora resents him for it. That is why she refuses the leading role her father offers her in his new film. Will things work out between father and daughter?

After her leading role in The Worst Person in the World, also by Joachim Trier, actress Renate Reinsve's career has taken off. It is not surprising that the director asked her to return, this time for the role of Nora. Trier wrote this beautiful family drama together with Eskil Vogt, with whom he has collaborated several times before.
