Disclosure Day
For almost eighty years, it has been known that humanity is not alone in the universe, that intelligent extraterrestrial life does indeed exist. But this knowledge has always been kept secret – until now. How will humanity react now that the truth has finally come to light? Will people be curious, or will panic break out?
The encounter between humans and aliens is a theme that director Steven Spielberg has explored in a fascinating way on several occasions in films such as Close Encounters of the Third Kind, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and War of the Worlds. Sometimes the aliens are friendly towards us, sometimes they seek our destruction. In his latest film, based on a story he wrote himself, everything revolves around the concept of humanity realising that we are not alone. Starring Emily Blunt and Josh O’Connor. Spielberg’s long-standing composer John Williams is responsible for the film’s score. It marks their 30th collaboration.
