Angela and Joe’s marriage has seen better days; it’s nothing but a daily grind and constant bickering. How different things are for their upstairs neighbours, Pina and Hawk, who are particularly ‘active’ at night, much to Joe’s annoyance. When Angela invites the neighbours over for dinner, Joe sees this as the perfect opportunity to give the pair a piece of his mind. But the dinner takes a completely different turn, resulting into an evening that won’t be forgotten easily.

In 2020, Spanish director Cesc Gay made Sentimental, a razor-sharp and highly successful comedy about a jaded couple and their exciting upstairs neighbours. In the years that followed, Italian, Swiss, French and South Korean remakes were released. And now there is also an American version, directed by actress/director Olivia Wilde. Alongside Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton, she herself stars in one of the leading roles.
