Kids’ films during the summer holidays at Rialto

A whole summer of film fun for children

The summer holidays are just around the corner! No school for a while, so it’s time to get out and about together. Why not plan a fun day out and go to the cinema together? At Rialto, we’ve got a selection of children’s films lined up again this summer that the whole family can enjoy.

Screening at the Rialto this summer

This summer, Rialto is the place to go for a fun day out at the cinema with your children. During the holidays, Rialto De Pijp will be showing a rotation of three children’s films on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. And at Rialto VU, the latest Toy Story (OV) is showing!

The ages listed are for guidance only.

Kids' Film Summer at Rialto De Pijp

Splish Splash Forever! (7+)

At Rialto De Pijp from 13 June

Vier feest met Dikkie Dik en de verdwenen knuffel (2+)

At Rialto De Pijp from 27 June

Oh no! Dikkie Dik has lost his favourite cuddly toy, Bear. Together with his best friend Poes Muis, Dikkie Dik sets off in search of Bear. It turns out to be a quest full of surprising discoveries.

Rally – van Parijs naar de Piramides (5+)

At Rialto De Pijp from 11 July

Buckle up! Reodor, Solan and Ludwig are taking part in a wild car rally from Paris to the Pyramids. Along the way, they encounter all sorts of things – and a rather irritating opponent. Exciting, funny and full of action.

Rialto VU

Toy Story 5 (OV)

At Rialto VU from 17 June

In a world where screens are taking over from toys, Woody and Buzz must do everything they can to ensure they aren’t forgotten. Can they show Bonnie that real play is irreplaceable?

Also in Rialto this summer

This July and August, Rialto is once again presenting a summer programme featuring a selection of classic summer films. Think of films that transport you to faraway places, long days and balmy evenings. More information about this programme, “Hot Town, Summer in the City”, will follow shortly.
