Bugonia

Aliens from the Andromeda galaxy have come to Earth with only one goal: to destroy all bees in order to exterminate humanity. After endless online research, parcel scanner and beekeeper Teddy has become convinced of this. He is also certain that Michelle Fuller, the CEO of a large international pharmaceutical company, is one such alien. But Teddy has no intention of letting that happen and, together with his cousin Don, comes up with a crazy plan: they want to kidnap Fuller to force her to contact her home planet. The plan succeeds, but Fuller, shaven bald and tied up, refuses to be intimidated by the alien hunters.

In this pitch-black comedy, a remake of Jang Joon-hwan's 2003 South Korean film Save the Green Planet!, Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos once again works with his favourite actress: Emma Stone. After The Favourite, Poor Things and Kinds of Kindness, this is their fourth joint project. Also starring Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis and Alicia Silverstone.
