Previously Unreleased

There are countless wonderful films to be seen at national and international festivals. So many, in fact, that not all of them reach the big screen in Dutch film theatres. Wrongly so, Eye Filmmuseum believes. That is why Eye brings a selection of these films to our the Netherlands every summer under the title Previously Unreleased.

The hidden gems, that were never seen before, can also be admired at Rialto this summer. We kick off with Cheryl Dunye’s feature film debut The Watermelon Woman on Thursday 25 June. In July and August, we’ll be screening Bouchra, Diciannova, Blue Sun Palace, Magellan and On a String.
