Love
Marianne is a doctor in Oslo at a clinic where nurse Tor also works. They don't really know each other, but what they have in common is that they are both not interested in conventional relationships and are fine with that. By chance, they meet on a ferry, the place where Tor spends nights with the men he has found online. He tells Marianne how enjoyable it is to experience the occasional one-night stand, which gets Marianne thinking: would this spontaneous intimacy also be something for her? Especially now that her colleague Heidi is trying to set her up with geologist Ole Harald.
Love is (after Sex and before Dreams) the second part of a trilogy in which Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud examines the theme of relationships. In it, he asks whether a woman and the way she experiences her sexuality has anything to learn from the gay community.
